Set in the heart of a beautiful village midway between the Yorkshire Dales & Yorkshire Moors, our historical home is the perfect place for an active or relaxing holiday! Originally the Old Court House for the village, our quirky home features original jail cell bars & wonky 1st floor windows, where the Judge used to enjoy views of the picturesque village green!

Locally, there's so much to do! There are scenic country walks from your doorstep, numerous great pubs & loads of nearby attractions !

House Rules

• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• No parties or events
• No smoking inside please but vaping is fine!

- We do not charge a deposit, however, we will take a pre-authorisation from your payment card for £300 a few days before you check-in. This hold will be released after you checkout after an inspection of the property.

- The hot tub/garden area is not suitable for children to be left unattended
- The hot tub will be filled with clean water for the beginning of your stay but you are responsible for heating the water (instructions will be provided - it's very simple and part of the experience!)
- Please note that this is our home and we keep our personal - although vaping is fine!belongings here
- Please treat our home with care and respect and leave it as you found it
- Please respect our neighbours and keep quiet hours between 10pm and 8am
- Please note our neighbours have a pedestrian right of way through our car-port so please always park considerately to one side

Getting around
We have parking for smaller vehicles under our car-port. There is also free on-street parking. The village is only a 5-minute drive from the A1. There is a bus that leaves from the village green to surrounding towns and villages. Darlington and Northallerton train stations are both a 20-minute drive away.
